Job Description
- BIM modelling and CAD drafting support
- Assists senior staff in preparation of design development drawings. Assists in preparation of layout and draws preliminary sketches of project to present to client.
- Assists in compiling data for architectural plans, specifications. Assists in preparation of scale drawing of details required for contract drawing.
- Personally verify the correctness and absolute accuracy of own work prior to review by the Team Leader Architect
- Provide prompt and accurate progress status reports on a regular and consistent basis to supervisor and project team members
- Update drawings from mark ups
- Utilizes CAD and Revit skills to build floor plans, perimeters, elevations and presentations as needed
- Assist the BIM Lead with creating Revit families, maintaining existing templates, creating new Portfolio templates and working with type catalogs
Job Requirements
- Accredited Bachelors or Masters in Architecture
- Revit experience, AutoCAD
- Must have strong drafting skills and an understanding of 3D modeling as well as strong plan reading skills
- A background in the construction and/or commercial interior design industry is preferred
