Job Description
- Understand client requirements and suggest the best solutions to meet their needs.
- Conduct presentations and demonstrations to explain products/services' technical aspects.
- Act as the technical point of contact for clients during the pre-sales and post-sales phases.
- Stay updated on the company's products, services, and advancements in the field.
- Tailor product offerings to meet the specific needs of the client.
- Provide technical explanations to clarify complex concepts.
- Work closely with the sales team to identify and prioritize business opportunities.
- Assist in preparing proposals, tenders, and quotations by including technical details.
- Ensure alignment between client needs and product specifications.
- Troubleshoot and resolve any technical issues that arise during or after implementation.
- Provide training and guidance to clients on product usage.
- Gather feedback for continuous product improvement.
- Identify opportunities to upsell or cross-sell products/services.
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with clients.
- Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and seminars to promote products.
- Maintain detailed records of customer interactions, sales opportunities, and outcomes.
- Prepare reports and share insights with the sales and product development teams.
- Document technical specifications and solutions for internal and external reference.
Job Requirements
Educational Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Civil, Industrial, or a related field).
- Relevant certifications or training in sales or product knowledge (optional but a plus).
- 0–2 years of experience in a sales, technical, or engineering role (fresh graduates are often considered).
- Familiarity with the industry or product line is a plus.
- Ability to interpret technical specifications and drawings.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Awareness of industry trends and technological developments.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
