Job Description

  • Managing the general accounting function and oversee the operations of the department (including, but not limited to, Daily, Month and end-year process, Accounts payable, Cash receipts, Treasury, LCs, LGs, budgeting, Grants, Maintain sufficient funds by forecasting cash requirements and obligations, Revenue and expenditure variance analysis, accounts reconciliations, Fixed asset activity).
  • Monitor and analyze accounting data and produce financial reports.
  • Manage the University’s budget.
  • Review and Perform Budget analysis and reporting to the Accounting Manager.
  • Review and Perform Grants analysis and reporting to the Accounting Manager.
  • Leading closing and ensuring efficiency across all functions and perform monthly analysis and prepare advanced reports to the Accounting Manager.
  • Guiding team on following financial policies, procedures, and systems.
  • Reviewing Monthly Closing, Reports and helping to issue it in a timely manner in accordance with the university’s financial regulations.
  • Any special assignments deposited by the Accounting Manager.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance
  • Experience from 8 to 10 years in industrial, contracting, educational institutions, external or internal auditing.
  • 3-year experience at least in supervisory level
  • knowledge of relevant accounting ERP systems & software 
  • Very good command of written and spoken English Language.
  • Very good command of MS. Office Applications, especially Word, Excel & Power Point.
  • Very good Microsoft Dynamics 365
  • Ability to lead and motivate team members 
  • Contribute to selecting new team members
  • Provide technical training for team member when applicable
  • Meticulous attention to detail and accuracy
  • Strong organizational and planning skills
  • Information collection and management skills
  • Problem identification and resolution skills
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent teamwork and cooperative attitude 
  • Strong time management ability and sense of commitment
