Job Description
- Troubleshoot systems issues and perform problem analysis to resolve them.
- Document procedures and standards
- Review and respond to tickets for messaging support
- Participate in preparing and testing the disaster recovery plan
- Provide 24x7 response and assistance for all urgent and related responsibilities

- Take administrative ownership of the Office 365 / AWS cloud infrastructure and services
- Build and implement AWS cloud solutions using best practices and in adherence with security standards
- Train IT staff to use related technologies so they may be more efficient and effective in their respective roles
- Resolve Tier 2 end user issues for a geographically dispersed workforce of office-based and remote staff
- Continuously assess organizational needs and implement cost effective IT solutions
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related discipline or an equivalent combination of education and experience from which comparable knowledge and skills may be acquired
- Minimum 3 years of extensive experience as an AWS System Administrator
- Solid knowledge of best practices in IT administration and system security
- 3+ years of experience managing Windows servers and Active directory environments
- 3+ years of experience providing server (hardware and Windows OS) support in an enterprise environment
- Experience with veeam backup
- Experience with Google Workspaces administration.
- PowerShell scripting experience
- Working knowledge of advanced AD administration, including permission delegation and GPO administration
- Working knowledge of DNS, DHCP, GPO management, and core networking technologies as they pertain to day-to-day server management
- Solid foundation in server systems, virtualization, and networking, and VDI environments.
- Minimum 2 years of extensive experience as an AWS System Administrator
- Ability to succeed in a dynamic environment and produce deliverables within tight timeframes, under pressure.
- Experience with site monitoring and log monitoring tools
- Ability to work full-time in a remote environment
- Experience in setup and configuring AWS components by using CLI and automation pipelines
- Experience in creating and managing VPC, Subnets, Security Group, VPN Gateways and NACL
- Experience in debugging AWS services/environment issues
- Experience with building cloud landing zones and multi-AZ / Multi-region resiliency architectures
- Experience in AWS Monitoring Tools such Cloud Watch & Cloud Trail
