Internship Description
What you’ll do
- Design intuitive, beautiful interfaces for our mobile applications and web services that reflect our sustainability values and enhance user engagement.
- Optimize and maintain existing layouts and design files to ensure consistent, user-friendly experiences.
- Develop creative designs for emails, pop-ups, and onboarding processes to delight and guide users.
- Take part in shaping and evolving our design systems to keep them relevant and scalable.
- Create responsive designs that work seamlessly across all devices, making borrowing accessible anytime, anywhere.
Nice to have
- Proficiency in Figma and experience with design systems and atomic design principles.
- Intermediate English communication skills to collaborate effectively with our global team.

Internship Requirements
The ideal candidate will be passionate about creating user-centered designs that not only look beautiful but also advance Borrow Place’s mission of promoting sustainable borrowing and community empowerment. You should have a strong foundation in visual and interaction design, with the ability to craft intuitive, accessible interfaces that encourage responsible and eco-friendly behaviors.
We’re looking for someone eager to learn and collaborate, with a keen eye for detail and a problem-solving mindset. Experience with Figma and familiarity with design systems or atomic design principles will help you contribute effectively. Strong English communication skills are important for working seamlessly with our diverse, global team.
