Internship Description
- Assist in UI/UX Design: Support the design team in creating and refining screens, flows, and interactive prototypes for Koinz’s products.
- Wireframing & Mockups: Help produce low- and high-fidelity wireframes and visual mockups under the guidance of product designers.
- User Research Participation: Join user interviews or usability tests; help document user feedback and insights.
- Design System Support: Help maintain and organize design system assets (icons, components, typography, etc.).
- Collaboration: Communicate and iterate with product managers, engineers, and other designers on real product features.
- Asset Preparation: Prepare and export image assets or specifications for the development team.
- Documentation: Assist in preparing design documentation and keeping Figma/Sketch files organized.
Continuous Learning: Stay updated with design trends and bring fresh perspectives to the team.
Internship Requirements
Must-Have:
- Currently pursuing or recently graduated with a degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Fine Arts, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Strong interest in digital product design (mobile/web apps, UX/UI, interaction design).
- Familiarity with at least one design tool (Figma, Adobe XD, Sketch, or similar).
- Basic understanding of user-centered design principles.
- Portfolio of personal, academic, or side projects (even if just classwork or mockups).
- Good communication skills (written and verbal).
- Detail-oriented, organized, and willing to learn.
Nice-to-Have:
- Experience with prototyping tools or basic motion design.
- Exposure to usability testing, user interviews, or feedback analysis.
- Some understanding of design systems and component libraries.
- Ability to collaborate in cross-functional teams (even if only through group projects).
