Indirect Purchasing

 What will you Learn & Practice: 

1. Negotiate with suppliers on their prices and offers.
2. Compare proposals to award a contract to execute specified jobs within a prescribed frame of time, undertaking ordering of services, equipment, goods, or materials, evaluate costs and check the quality to ensure optimal payoff for the organization.
3. Negotiate the terms, conditions, costs, and other specifications of a contract.
4. Oversee the execution of the contract, agree on and document any changes.
5. Monitor the direction and momentum of the product prices on a long-term basis, identify and predict the movement of prices as well as identify the recurring trends.
6. Prepare purchase orders and update them on the company’s database.
7. Coordinate and manage procurement and renting processes including purchasing, renting, planning, tracking, and reporting in a cost-efficient way on an organizational level.
8. Follow up on the execution of all purchase orders.
9. Monitor and supervise the order and selection of services provided by suppliers.
10. Communicate changes in specifications and/or adjustments with suppliers.
11. Ensure orders are acknowledged correctly.
12. Revert to suppliers in case something is missing or broken.
13. Develop and implement cost saving plans and strategies.
14. Recommend improvements to cost and service effectiveness.
15. Update, develop and maintain the list of company suppliers.
