Job Description
1. Serve as a bridge between the company and hotels, ensuring smooth financial operations:
- Establish and maintain effective communication channels with hotels and relevant departments within the company
- Collaborate with hotel staff and management to understand their financial requirements and address any concerns
- Coordinate financial processes and transactions between the company and hotels
2. Manage all aspects of accounts payable for hotel payments:
- Process invoices received from hotels, ensuring accuracy and adherence to payment terms
- Verify and validate invoices, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures
- Coordinate with hotels and resolve any invoice-related issues or discrepancies
3. Reconcile bank statements:
- Monitor and reconcile financial transactions and statements
- Investigate and resolve discrepancies or errors in a timely manner
- Prepare and maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records
4. Prepare monthly financial reports:
- Generate financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements
- Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and areas for improvement
- Present financial reports to management and provide insights and recommendations
Job Requirements
- Proficient in using computers, including accounting software and Microsoft Office applications
- Excellent command of the English language, both written and verbal
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial data entry and analysis
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team
- Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or a related field
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the tourism industry with a focus on hotel payments
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve financial issues
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with colleagues, suppliers, and auditors
- Proficiency in using accounting software and Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, for data analysis and reporting
