ILUJIS Agriculture is seeking a highly skilled Senior Cost Accountant to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical abilities, attention to detail, and a deep understanding of cost accounting principles within the agricultural industry. As a Senior Cost Accountant, you will be responsible for analyzing costs, preparing budget reports, monitoring inventory, and providing strategic recommendations to optimize financial performance.

Responsibilities:

1. Conduct detailed analysis of production costs, including raw materials, labor, and overhead expenses.
2. Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual cost reports to identify variances and trends.
3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and maintain standard costing models for agricultural products.
4. Monitor inventory levels and reconcile discrepancies between physical counts and recorded inventory.
5. Evaluate manufacturing processes and recommend improvements to enhance cost efficiency and productivity.
6. Assist in the development of annual operating budgets and forecasts.
7. Support month-end and year-end closing processes, including accruals and journal entries.
8. Provide financial analysis and insights to support decision-making at both operational and executive levels.
9. Ensure compliance with accounting standards, company policies, and regulatory requirements.
10. Participate in ad hoc projects and initiatives to drive continuous improvement in financial processes and controls.
