Job Description
• Manage all aspects of the accounting cycle, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger
• Prepare and analyze financial statements (balance sheet, income statement, cash flow statement)
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date accounting records in accordance with GAAP
• Assist with budgeting and forecasting • Reconcile bank statements and ensure timely payments
• Prepare and file tax returns
• Work closely with other departments, such as purchasing, sales, and operations
• Stay informed of changing tax laws and regulations
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
- Minimum 2+ years of experience in an accounting role, preferably within the manufacturing or apparel industry
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and GAAP
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero)
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Effective communication and interpersonal skills Bonus points if you have:
- Experience with import/export regulations and procedures
- Proficient in ERP systems
