This senior role oversees strategy, system expansions, vendor management, and ensures that all surveillance solutions meet business and security objectives.Key ResponsibilitiesLead the planning, implementation, and management of all CCTV operations and infrastructure across the organization.Develop and execute CCTV strategies to ensure scalability, performance, and alignment with business and security requirements.Oversee system design and architecture for large-scale CCTV deployments, including integration with access control, alarms, and enterprise security platforms.Manage the installation, configuration, and maintenance of CCTV cameras, NVRs, VMS platforms (such as Milestone), and supporting infrastructure.Direct expansion projects, ensuring timely delivery, cost efficiency, and adherence to organizational and regulatory standards.Evaluate new CCTV technologies, including AI-enabled analytics, advanced video compression, and cloud-based surveillance solutions, for potential adoption.Ensure system compliance with safety, quality, and security regulations, as well as international standards and best practices.Lead vendor and OEM relationships, managing procurement, licensing, support contracts, and escalations.Establish policies and procedures for system monitoring, incident response, and video data retention.Perform capacity planning for storage, bandwidth, and system resources to support growing surveillance demands.Oversee and coordinate maintenance schedules, upgrades, and firmware updates for enterprise CCTV systems.Provide technical leadership, mentoring, and guidance to CCTV engineers and technicians, fostering skill development and knowledge sharing.Act as the escalation point for critical CCTV incidents and ensure rapid resolution to minimize downtime or security gaps.Prepare management reports, technical documentation, and proposals for CCTV-related projects.Work closely with IT, facilities, and security teams to ensure seamless integration of CCTV solutions with organizational infrastructure.Participate in audits, compliance reviews, and security assessments related to surveillance systems.Job RequirementsBachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, Electronics, IT, or related technical field (Master’s degree preferred).Minimum of 10+ years of experience in CCTV and security systems, with at least 3–5 years in a leadership or management role.Proven expertise in designing, managing, and expanding enterprise CCTV systems at scale.Strong knowledge of VMS solutions, with advanced experience in Milestone platforms.Hands-on experience with CCTV OEM systems, camera technologies, and supporting infrastructure.In-depth understanding of video networking, storage architecture, bandwidth management, and system scalability.Excellent leadership, communication, and team management skills, with a proven ability to mentor and guide technical staff.Strong vendor and project management experience, including contract negotiation and SLA enforcement.Ability to manage budgets, project timelines, and resources effectively.Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make strategic technical decisions under pressure.Familiarity with international security and compliance standards.Aviation experience is preferred.Required CertificationsMilestone Certified Design Engineer (MCDE)CCTV OEM Training CertificationsPreferred Certifications (a Plus)ITIL Foundation or higher (for IT service management)PMP or PRINCE2 (for project management)Advanced OEM or VMS vendor certifications (e.g., Genetec, Axis, Bosch)Security Systems Integration Certification
