- Job Details: Primary responsibility is to prepare financial statements and supporting schedules according to monthly close schedule Facilitate and complete monthly close procedures Analyse revenues, commissions and expenses to ensure they are recorded appropriately on monthly basis Prepare monthly account reconciliations Checking the Main Contractor, Nominated Sub-Contractor, Direct Contractor, and Consultant Payments, Examination the Contractors All Risk Insurance, Workmen Compensation and Third party Insurance related to the work Orders, scheming the Advance Payment Guarantee, Performance guarantees And Sub-Contractors BOQ, Appendix, TOC, DL Sub-Contractors: Preparing sub contractor’s progressive Payment certificates, progressive supplier invoices, petty cash bills and other daily operational documents and preparing primary vouchers (PI, PV, RV, PC, JV etc), Preparing Sub-Contractor, Main contractors, NSC’s and Consultant Payment, Advance, Retention report, Advance Payment Deductions, and Fines & Penalties Well versed with Bank Guarantees and LCs: Expertise in handling with various types of Bank Guarantees, such as Performance Guarantees, Advance Payment Guarantees, Retention Guarantees, Financial Guarantees, Labour Guarantees and Tender Guarantees, Site LCs and Usance LCs Preparing MIS Reports. Checking all Vouchers and Documents (MR, LPO, MI, SRV, DN, PI, PV, CPV, IPC etc.) Assists external auditors (|Deloitte, Ernst & Young) in their review and analyses of Company financial records by providing requested information and explaining financial procedures and practices for interim and year-end audits. Purchase Accounting & Account Payables Expertise in posting of Daily purchase in the respective ledgers in ERP Software and Exposure in dealing with 600 plus suppliers for their payment according to their credit periods and debt collection from customers those has credit facilities. Verifying and recording purchase transactions up to the preparations of cheques. Accounts Receivables: Expert in dealing with company customers such as Department of Transport Abu Dhabi, Abu Dhabi Municipality, and Abu Dhabi western Region Municipalities, Abu Dhabi Distribution Co; Al-Dar Properties PJSC & Musanada for their payment according to the follow up Payments Certificates. Schedules of Fixed Assets: Preparing schedules of fixed assets, Fixed Assets Revaluation, calculating depreciation and preparing necessary closing entries General Ledger & Petty Cash Transaction: Expertise in the area of General Ledger posting (especially Banking transactions) and petty cash Transactions. Checking of maintenance of the General Ledger ensuring that the ledger and its related Subsidiary Ledgers are closed and finalized according to Company procedure. Bank/Supplier Reconciliation:Reconciliation of the Banks and Related Concern’s Accounts Other Accounts Works: Exposure in other areas such as Cash management, cash counter closing, supervising cashiers and Non-mercantile accounting etc. Cash Flow: Preparation of cash flow statements for monitor payments and receipts to balance company’s financial status. Assist in preparations of various schedules for the purpose of Finalization of Accounts. Assist in documentation and monitoring of internal controls Preparation of Journal Vouchers for Adjustment Entries, Debit and Credit notes. Well versed with credit card transactions. Training, Supervising and Job distribution to juniors.
