Medical Officer

• Job Details:As a GP medical officer at UNRWA, I provide basic medical care and counseling to patients. I treat outpatients suffering from communicable infections and acute pain, prescribing appropriate medications or referring them to hospitals for further investigations. I also work with patients with non-communicable diseases (NCDs), such as diabetes, hypertension, and ischemic heart disease, by offering medical counseling, prescribing medications, and providing diet and exercise plans. I ensure consistent follow-ups to monitor treatment compliance and conduct annual checkups to assess medication effectiveness. Additionally, I work with pregnant women, providing prenatal care and family planning services.
