Job Description
We are looking for a Solar Design & Implementation Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing solar PV systems, conducting technical feasibility studies, preparing drawings and documentation, and supervising on-site installation to ensure quality and compliance with specifications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design solar photovoltaic (PV) systems using professional software such as PVsyst, AutoCAD, or similar tools.
- Conduct technical site assessments and load analysis to determine optimal system size and components.
- Prepare technical drawings, wiring diagrams, and detailed bill of materials (BOM).
- Coordinate with procurement and installation teams to ensure timely and accurate project execution.
- Supervise on-site installation activities and ensure compliance with design standards and safety protocols.
- Perform system testing, commissioning, and troubleshooting as needed.
- Prepare and submit technical reports and documentation for completed projects.
- Stay up-to-date with advancements in solar technology and best practices.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Renewable Energy (or a related field).
- 2–5 years of proven experience in solar PV system design and implementation.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, PVsyst, and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong understanding of solar energy systems, components, and industry standards.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and project management skills.
- Ability to work on-site and travel to project locations as required.
- Valid driver’s license is preferred.
