Job Description

Egypt University of Informatics (EUI), at the New Administrative Capital (NAC) is looking for qualified candidates to fill Social Media Specialist vacancy, to start immediately.

Position Description: 

EUI seeks applicants for full-time employment and invites candidates to become engaged in an interactive and collaborative environment. Find below details of all requirements:

Job Requirements:

  • Create and implement social media strategies to promote audience engagement and brand visibility.
  • Create captivating social media material that is aligned with our brand voice and target audience.
  • Generate, edit, publish, and share daily content (original text, images, video, or HTML) that builds meaningful connections and encourages community members to act.
  • Manage and monitor all social media platforms.
  • Regularly update social media accounts with relevant and engaging content, ensuring consistency in brand messaging and visual identity.
  • Create media plans, generate ads, and deliver analytics reports on a regular basis for all social network activity.
  • Support the growth and nurturing of EUI’s social media audiences, while increasing engagement rates and valuable actions
  • Stay up to date with the latest trends and best practices in social media marketing and identify opportunities to leverage emerging platforms and technologies.
  • Implement social media advertising campaigns, including budget management, targeting, and performance tracking.
  • Conduct research and gather insights on industry trends, audience behavior, and competitor activities to inform social media strategies.
  • Conduct surveys on students’ response and behavior to improve strategies further.
  • Utilize Instagram Stories and Reels (or similar features on other platforms) to create real-time, behind-the-scenes glimpses of events.
  • Monitor SEO and user engagement and suggest content optimization.
  • Communicate with industry professionals and influencers via social media to create a strong network.
  • Create editorial calendars and syndication schedules.
  • Continuously improve by capturing and analyzing the appropriate social data/metrics, insights, and best practices, and then acting on the information
  • Monitor social media conversations, respond to comments and messages in a timely and professional manner.

Job Requirements

Qualifications: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Communications, or a related field (preferred).
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in social media marketing.
  • Strong understanding of major social media platforms and their algorithms.
  • Good understanding of social media KPIs
  • Experience with social media analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics).
  • Understanding of SEO and web traffic metrics
  • Experience with doing audience and buyer persona research.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Team player
  • Great interpersonal and communication skills
