Job Description

  •  Conduct laboratory tests on yarns (e.g., tensile strength, twist, elongation, hairiness, appearance ).
  • Monitor and analyze yarn performance during knitting to prevent defects such as barre, drop stitches, or uneven tension.
  • Collaborate with knitting technicians to optimize machine settings based on yarn properties.
  • Maintain detailed records of yarn specifications, test results, and supplier performance.
  • Provide technical input during yarn trials and fabric development.
  • Identify root causes of yarn-related production issues and recommend corrective actions.
  • Work with yarn suppliers to resolve quality issues and improve consistency.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and internal quality requirements.
  • Manage day-to-day operations of the yarn store, including receiving, storing, and issuing yarns.
  • Maintain accurate stock records through inventory management systems.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering
  • ERP Systems: Experience with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems to manage and streamline production processes
