MISSION

Develop the studies of Body systems during the entire product development process

MAIN TASKS

Define technical solutions in coherence with project targets (performance, weight, cost) and technological constraints

Develop cad model studies of complex systems made by multiple parts respecting feasibility and vehicle packaging constraints
Guarantees the application of design rules and best practices
Produce the design technical documentation
Analyze CAE and Physical test reports and, in case of need, introduce the changes to fulfill the target in agreement with the Eng. Specialist
Introduce product design changes
Partecipate to DFMEA process
Coordinate the activities and guarantee the tasks fulfillment of the assigned group of designers
Execute drawings of components and assemblies including Q+, Qh points definition
Define the product CAD and BOM structure
Operate according to development process

SKILLS

Body-in-White and Closures Designers: strong knowledge of BiW and Closures metal design, with a strong understanding of body structure, stamping feasibility, body sealing, and body shop weld requirements.

TOOLS

Catia: expert user, Unigraphics NX including Weld Assistant and 3DA, Teamcenter, Advanced knowledge of Codep, Enovia
Fluent English is required / German or Italien is a plus
