Job Description
- Lead and manage day-to-day export operations, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery of freight shipments.
- Coordinate logistics activities.
- Manage and liaise with shipping lines and sales dept. all shipment pricing activities.
- Resolve operational issues and ensure smooth execution of services.
- Ensure compliance with regulations and company policies.
- Monitor Schedules for potential delays, negotiate with shippers to resolve delivery issues.
- Maintain the export compliance database.
- Monitor and report on international trade trends and developments.
- You should NOT reveal, trade or viable work secrets, or any matter related to the company's work, its internal and external affairs.
- Manage the company's related customs affairs, and be responsible for the application, verification and cancellation of all export related documents.
- Has strong customer orientation.
- Speed and execution focused.
- Cover logistics operations during weekends as needed.
- Check overseas shipments against shipping manifests and packing lists.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in business, logistics or related field.
- (3 - 5) years of experience in logistics, or similar administrative role.
- Strong organizational and data entry skills with attention to details.
- Familiarity with international trade regulations and customs clearance procedures.
- Excellent communication, negotiation and coordination skills.
- Proficiency with MS office and other computer software related to the field.
