Job Description
InfraNova is a rapidly expanding company specializing in intergated design services for road, bridges and highway infrastructure, with a particular emphasis on bridge structures. Additionally, we are also dedicated on developing automation tools for the design process.
Presently, our primary focus lies within the Romanian market, with ambitions to extend our reach throughout the entirety of the European Union and other regions .
In line with our strategic growth objectives, InfraNova is currently in the process of opening an office in Cairo, Egypt. This strategic move is aimed at leveraging the wealth of engineering talent available locally.
General description
Location: Cairo, Egypt
Position: Bridge design engineer
Available positions: unspecified
Work hours: 40 hours/week – flexible schedule
Contract period: permanent
Duties and responsibilities
- Developing the initial concepts for the bridge structure.
- Performing structural analyses.
- Detailed calculation of all structural elements.
- Drafting and detailing technical drawings.
- Preparing BoQ.
- Review drawings.
Mandatory requirements
- University degree in civil engineering
- English at least level C1
- Proven experience in bridge design
- Proven experience with AutoCAD software
- Proven experience with a structural analysis software
Advantages:
- Experience in steel structures design
- Knowledge of CSI Bridge / SAP 2000 / or any other FEA software
- Knowledge of MathCAD software
- Knowledge of Tekla software
- Knowledge of programming language and softwares
