Job Description
- Design, develop, and customize Odoo modules to meet business requirements and enhance educational management systems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze user needs, translating them into effective Odoo solutions.
- Integrate Odoo with third-party applications and APIs to streamline operations and improve system interoperability.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve technical issues within Odoo modules, ensuring optimal system performance.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation, including code, configuration, and user manuals.
- Implement and maintain security best practices within Odoo environments to safeguard sensitive educational data.
- Participate in code reviews, testing, and quality assurance processes to ensure high standards of software delivery.
- Provide technical support and training to end-users, empowering staff to maximize Odoo’s capabilities.
- Monitor system performance and proactively recommend improvements to enhance efficiency and user experience.
- Stay updated with the latest Odoo releases, features, and industry trends to continuously improve solutions.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 4-7 years of proven experience as an Odoo Developer or in a similar ERP development role.
- Strong proficiency in Python and experience with Odoo framework and architecture.
- Solid understanding of relational databases, particularly PostgreSQL.
- Experience with front-end technologies such as JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3.
- Familiarity with RESTful APIs and third-party integrations.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, office-based environment.
- Strong communication skills to interact with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience in the education sector or with educational ERP systems is a plus.
