Job Description
- Conduct comprehensive market research to identify new sales opportunities and evaluate client needs in the software development industry.
- Actively pursue new sales opportunities through cold calling, networking, and social media platforms, with a focus on software products and services.
- Schedule and conduct meetings with potential clients to understand their requirements, wishes, and concerns regarding software solutions.
- Prepare and deliver engaging presentations tailored to the client's needs, showcasing the benefits and features of our software products.
- Create detailed reviews and reports with sales and financial data to track progress and adjust strategies as needed.
- Ensure the availability of software demos and trial versions for sales presentations and client evaluations.
- Represent the company at exhibitions, conferences, and industry events to promote our software solutions and expand our network.
- Negotiate and close deals effectively, while handling any complaints or objections with a solutions-focused approach.
- Collaborate with the development and marketing teams to ensure product knowledge is up-to-date and feedback from customers is utilized for product improvement.
- Gather and analyze feedback from customers or prospects, sharing insights with internal teams to guide future product development and sales strategies.
Job Requirements
- Proven experience as a Sales Executive or similar role, preferably in the software development or tech industry.
- Strong understanding of software development processes, market trends, and the unique challenges businesses face in this sector.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and foster long-term relationships with clients.
- Proficiency in delivering compelling presentations and product demonstrations.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong sense of initiative and drive to achieve sales targets.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or relevant field.
- Familiarity with CRM tools and Microsoft Office Suite; knowledge of software development tools and platforms is a plus.
- Willingness to travel as required for client meetings, exhibitions, and conferences.
