Job Description
- Support our HR department in ensuring smooth and efficient business operations.
- Assist in developing and executing personnel procedures and policies, providing guidance and interpretation for business operations.
- Partner with Hiring Managers about staffing needs.
- Determine selection criteria with Line Managers.
- Schedule job interviews and handle the interviewing process.
- Conduct new employee onboarding.
- Source potential candidates through online and offline channels (e.g. social platforms and professional networks, job boards).
- Plan interview and selection procedures, including screening calls, assessments, online and face-to-face interviews.
- Participate in the development of HR objectives and systems, including metrics, queries, and standard reports for ongoing company requirements.
- Assist in administering benefits, compensation, and employee performance programs.
- Suggest new procedures and policies to continually improve the efficiency of the HR department and organization as a whole, and to improve the employee experience.
- Ensure legal compliance with HR state and labor regulations and applicable employment laws, and update policies and/or procedures as required.
- Management reports and provides decision support through HR metrics.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Business, Human Resources, or a related area.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict-resolution skills.
- Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
- Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.
- Thorough knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
- Good command in written and spoken English.
