Job Description

As a Marketing Director, you will be in charge of leading our company's marketing efforts. You will be responsible for providing guidance to our marketing department by evaluating and developing marketing strategies, planning and coordinating marketing efforts, communicating the marketing plans to those involved, and building awareness and positioning for our company's brands. You will also work closely with other departments such as the Sales, Operations and Video Broadcasting departments, to capitalize on our company offerings, build brand awareness, drive sales and achieve our ROI. You will also be responsible for leading and developing the marketing team in addition to interacting with clients on a regular basis. 



 

Responsibilities


 

  • Overseeing the Marketing department and planning, directing, and coordinating all marketing efforts.
  • Collaborate with the business team to uncover insights and strategies to develop and implement marketing and branding strategies for new and existing products, internally and externally
  • Design and implement comprehensive marketing strategies to create awareness of the company’s business activities
  • Lead the development of our marketing plans, working closely with clients, management, creative and content teams, and distribution partners, to create an effective and efficient marketing strategy focused on achieving the desired objectives and KPIs.
  • Manage conception, development, and implementation of marketing plans and strategies, product concepts, and promotional programs, including schedules for media, direct marketing and PR, to drive interest and sales. This is to be fully cost and show measurable performance targets for each area of expenditure.
  • Manage to secure essential media partnerships and other third-party promotional partnerships, delivering strategies to maximise their support.
  • Build and maintain partnerships with suppliers, media partners, radio & TV channels etc.
  • Oversee production and management of proper web and all online presence. Oversee and approve marketing material, from website banners to hard copy brochures, case studies and more
  • Monitor progress and submit performance reports for the marketing department.
  • Identify short-term and long-term scheduling, budget, and resource needs, including the development and management of an annual marketing budget, profit/loss projections, expenditure spending, and other financial considerations
  • Understand key marketing performance metrics and tracking tools to provide market research, forecasts, competitive analyses, campaign results, and consumer trends in order to translate results into actionable insights for the marketing team
  • Analyse customer insights, consumer trends, market analysis, and marketing best practices to build successful strategies Establish positioning, identify target audiences, and develop marketing plans with specific objectives across different channels and segments
  • Review current marketing trends and advertisements to determine the effectiveness of different styles and strategies
  • Oversee and grow the marketing department and ensure all operations in terms of the Marketing division are carried on in an appropriate, cost-effective way
  • consistently identifying revenue opportunities within our established client base and managing consistent growth by securing new accounts
  • Produce ideas for promotional events or activities and organise them efficiently
  • Responsible for writing and designing online newsletters, promotional emails and press releases and organise their distribution through various channels
  • Hold regular meetings with Business Development and Account Managers to review pipeline, resolve challenges, and present possible solutions, and provide ongoing training to ensure team consistently performs above standard
  • Manage events onsite overseeing all media aspects, Design and manage event activations with our event partners, overseeing all media aspects, photography, PR, registration etc.

Job Requirements

 

  • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing or business administration is a must
  • Proven experience in a senior marketing role with a proven track record. Previous experience working in a creative or advertising agency..
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and decision-making skills
  • Up to speed with current and online marketing techniques and best practices
  • Strong analytical skills and data-driven thinking
  • Experience with digital and print marketing, content marketing, and social media marketing
  • Have good time management skills, the ability to prioritise your workload and work independently as well as a part of the team
  • It is essential that you are fully computer literate and have excellent spoken and written English as well as Arabic
  • Knowledge of organisational effectiveness and operations management
  • Proven ability to manage budgeting and forecasting
