Job Description
The sales engineer will join our sales and marketing department at our office. The sales engineer’s duties will be:
- Searching for new customers and creating leads with them
- Meeting set targets for leads created, offers submitted and POs obtained
- Continuously obtaining new requests for quotes from new customers and existing ones
- Continuously following up the status of offers submitted to customers with the goal of securing a PO
- Communicating effectively with customers to identify their needs and concerns and responding to them well.
- Visiting customers and sites continuously to position the company to obtain more business (you are expected to travel weekly to different cities if needed)
- Reporting activities and progress weekly
- Submitting weekly status reports
- Communicate and follow-up with internal departments to obtain requested price offers and communicate modifications needed
- Being the representative of the company in front of the customer and being the representative of the customer in front of the internal departments within the company.
- Attending FAT tests with customers
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree (Preferably in Electrical Engineering - Power Department)
- 2-6 years works experience (Experience in similar industries is an asset)
- Proficiency in using Windows, Microsoft office suite
- Important Characteristics and Skills: Diligence, Honesty, Ability to work under pressure, strong communication skills and ability to work independently or part of a team.
- An outgoing and people’s person
- Having a car (compensation for using your car will be paid)
