Job Description
- Managing the warehouse in line with the company’s standards
- Complying with the company’s policies and vision
- Overseeing basic operations, such as receiving, warehousing, and distribution.
- Manage stock control and reconcile with data storage system
- Using the warehouse space to achieve peak efficiency
- Safeguards warehouse operations by complying with extensive security procedures and protocol
- Adhere to all warehousing, handling, and shipping legislation laws and requirement
- Initiate, coordinate, and enforce optimal operational policies and procedure
- Responsible for the planning and the executive programs of the warehouse, which are in the end to achieve the main objectives of the company
- Responsible for following up on the implementation of plans for the management of the warehouse
- Produce reports and statistics regularly (IN/OUT status report, dead stock report etc)
- Issue appropriate decisions on how to store in accordance with the nature of stocks
- Training the personnel working in the warehouse on their work and transferring their expertise to them so that they are qualified to replace it in case of vacancy
Job Requirements
- Excellent leadership skills, including the abilities to set goals, motivate and manage conflict
- Effective communication skills, including writing, speaking and active listening
- +15 years experience
- Good project management skills, including strong decision-making, problem-solving and strategic planning abilities
- Exceptional time management and organization skills
- Familiar with safety and storage requirements
