Job Description
- Install, configure, and maintain physical and virtual servers (Windows/Linux).
- Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure optimal uptime.
- Manage Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Group Policies, and user accounts.
- Perform regular backups and recovery operations.
- Apply operating system updates, patches, and configuration changes.
- Maintain and monitor internal infrastructure including firewalls, switches, and routers.
- Implement and enforce security best practices, including antivirus and intrusion detection systems.
- Provide support for hardware and software issues reported by users.
- Document system configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting guides.
- Assist in planning and executing IT infrastructure projects and upgrades.
- Respond to and resolve service outages and other problems in a timely manner.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- 4+ years of experience in system administration or similar IT role.
- Strong knowledge of Windows Server and/or Linux systems.
- Experience with virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V, etc.).
- Familiarity with networking concepts (TCP/IP, VLANs, VPN, etc.).
- Experience with backup and disaster recovery tools.
- Knowledge of scripting (PowerShell, Bash, etc.) is a plus.
- Certifications such as MCSA, CompTIA Server+, or RHCSA are a plus.
