Job Description:
The Junior Production Chemist will be responsible for overseeing production processes, acting as a liaison between the control room and the field, and ensuring product quality standards are met. This role involves active coordination with the production team and supporting the continuous improvement of production practices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as the main communication point between the control room and field operations.
- Monitor and maintain production quality standards.
- Assist in troubleshooting production issues and providing timely feedback to the control room.
- Maintain accurate records of production data and ensure adherence to standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Support the implementation of production optimization initiatives and improvements.
Job Requirements
Preferred Person Specification:
Education Required:
- Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.
Experience Required:
- 1-2 years of experience in a production environment, preferably in a continuous process industry.
Skills Required:
