Job Description
Job Purpose:
Develops the Hospital’s Quality Management Program, coordinates the Accreditation process.
Manages and coordinates hospital-wide efforts to ensure that performance management (PM) and quality improvement (QI) programs are developed and managed using a data driven focus that sets priorities for improvements aligned to ongoing strategic imperatives.
Key Responsibilities
Planning & Monitoring Process
- Design, manage and monitor the effective compliance to the hospital policies and procedures
Builds, and monitors implementation and effectiveness of the hospital’s Quality Management and Improvement System. - Convenes regular meetings, sets agendas, develops and analyzes performance improvement data for the council, designs and implements the necessary Quality Council processes and systems, develops and implements an hospital-wide communication plan.
- Researches and designs appropriate hospital-wide performance and quality training.
Operational Excellence Process
- Manage the reporting cycle and investigation of occurrence variance reports.
- Support and lead the adoption of international healthcare quality standards.
- Implements a performance management and improvement process that leads to a positive and measurable impact on the hospital’s operations.
- Coordinates different quality and performance initiatives to ensure alignment and optimal use of resources.
- Coordinates performance management and quality improvement capacity building for all levels of management and employees.
- Establishes a continuous performance and quality improvement effort and monitoring and reporting system.
- Regularly reports the status of performance and quality improvement efforts and impacts.
- Coordinates the Quality Council.
Innovation Process
- Trains and certifies in-house performance and quality improvement trainers for various performance and quality improvement training programs.
Job Requirements
Education:
- Bachelor degree of medical filed (Medicine, Pharmacy, Dentistry)
- Master degree in hospital quality or MBA, quality management major.
Experience:
- Min 5 years’ experience in QM field in relevant hospitals or health care entities.
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in managerial position.
- Previous experience on Egyptian accreditation whether governmental or private hospital is preferred.
- Previous experience on Egyptian accreditation or JCI standards.
