Job Description
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Manage and develop the network of distributors and clients within the assigned region.
- Achieve monthly and annual sales targets in line with the company’s strategy.
- Build strong relationships with veterinarians, farms, veterinary pharmacies, and distributors.
- Provide regular reports to management regarding sales performance, market trends, and competition analysis.
- Implement approved marketing and promotional plans.
- Train and guide the sales team (if applicable) within the area.
- Ensure continuous product availability and manage stock levels.
- Deal with problems by providing creative and practical solutions
- Evaluate performance using key metrics and address issues to improve it
- Report to senior executives on progress and issues
- Assist upper management in decisions for expansion or acquisition
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Veterinary Medicine or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in veterinary pharmaceutical sales.
- Strong knowledge of the local veterinary market and distributor networks.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, leadership abilities and persuasion skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet sales goals.
- Strong business acumen with a strategic orientation
- Excellent problem-solving abilities
- Must own a car and hold a valid driving license.
