Job Description
- Monitor and enforce compliance with food safety regulations (local and international) within the storage facility.
- Ensure that all food items stored meet hygiene and quality standards.
- Conduct regular inspections of storage areas (refrigerated, frozen, and dry) to verify proper temperature, cleanliness, and handling.
- Identify and report any non-conformities or risks to food safety.
- Maintain accurate records of inspections, audits, temperature logs, and corrective actions.
- Prepare and submit quality reports to management regularly.
- Ensure pest control procedures and cleaning schedules are followed.
- Ensure the facility adheres to standards such as ISO 22000, HACCP, or local food authority regulations.
- Assist in preparing for internal and external quality audits.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Agriculture, Quality Assurance, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in food quality control or food safety, preferably in warehousing or cold storage.
- Familiarity with HACCP, ISO 22000, and other food safety management systems.
- Strong observation, documentation, and reporting skills.
- Good communication and team coordination skills.
- Ability to work in remote or high-temperature environments when required.
