Job Summary:
As a QA Tester, you will be responsible for ensuring that our software meets the highest standards of quality and performance. You will design and implement test plans, perform manual and automated testing, and report bugs to ensure our applications are functioning as intended. Your role is key in maintaining product integrity and delivering flawless user experiences.
Key Responsibilities:
• Design, develop, and execute test cases, scripts, plans, and procedures to ensure software functionality.
• Perform manual and automated testing on web and mobile applications.
• Identify, document, and track bugs, errors, and other issues in the software.
• Collaborate closely with developers, project managers, and other team members to resolve bugs and improve product quality.
• Verify that all new features and bug fixes meet acceptance criteria before release.
• Conduct regression, performance, and usability testing on each release to ensure consistent quality.
• Develop and maintain test documentation, including test plans, test cases, and test scripts.
• Work in an Agile/Scrum environment, attending sprint planning and stand-up meetings as needed.
• Provide detailed reports on testing progress, results, and quality metrics.
• Stay up-to-date with QA trends, methodologies, and best practices
Job Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 2+ years of experience in software quality assurance and testing.
• Strong understanding of QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
• Experience with manual testing and automated testing tools (e.g., Selenium, JUnit, TestRail).
• Familiarity with bug tracking systems (e.g., Jira, Bugzilla) and version control tools (e.g., Git).
• Experience testing web and mobile applications.
• Knowledge of SQL and scripting is a plus.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a team-oriented environment.
• Experience with Agile/Scrum development processes is a plus.
