Job Description
We're seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Senior Account Payable & General Accountant to join our growing team. You'll play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our financial processes, utilizing your expertise in both accounts payable and general accounting tasks. As an Odoo user, you'll be comfortable navigating our accounting system to maximize efficiency and accuracy.
Responsibilities:
- Process accounts payable transactions, including invoice verification, approval, and timely payment.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date general ledger records using Odoo.
- Reconcile bank statements and accounts payable accounts.
- Prepare monthly and year-end closing procedures.
- Assist with accounts receivable and other accounting tasks as needed.
- Generate and analyze financial reports to support informed decision-making.
- Stay up-to-date on accounting best practices and Odoo functionalities.
- Maintain a strong understanding of internal controls and ensure adherence to company policies.
- Manage all accounting transactions and Handle monthly, quarterly and annual closings
- Reconcile accounts payable and receivable and Ensure timely bank payment
- Manage balance sheets and profit/loss statements
- Audit financial transactions and documents
Job Requirements
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field.
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in accounts payable and general accounting.
- Proven experience working with Odoo accounting software.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to prioritize tasks, manage deadlines, and work independently.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
