We are hiring a Remote Medical Billing and Insurance Specialist on behalf of our Partner, a leading laser eye surgery clinic. This role is responsible for managing all aspects of health insurance claims, billing, and payouts to ensure accurate and timely processing. The ideal candidate will have expertise in medical billing, insurance verification, and patient financial coordination, with a strong commitment to patient satisfaction.Key ResponsibilitiesProcess Insurance Claims: Prepare, submit, and follow up on electronic insurance claims to secure timely and accurate reimbursements.Handle Billing and Coding: Code medical procedures and generate invoices using cloud-based platforms, ensuring compliance.Verify Insurance and Coordinate Payments: Confirm patient insurance coverage, obtain pre-authorizations, and assist patients virtually with payment plans.Reconcile Payouts and Ensure Compliance: Resolve payment disputes, reconcile payouts, and maintain HIPAA-compliant digital records.QualificationsExperience: Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in medical billing, insurance claims processing, or patient financial services, preferably in a UAE healthcare or surgical setting.Education: Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, or related admin field.Knowledge: Strong understanding of UAE health insurance processes, including private insurance.Soft Skills: Exceptional attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and excellent communication skills for remote interactions with patients, staff, and insurance representatives.
