Job Description
- Test Planning and Design: Assist in creating test plans and detailed test cases based on requirements.
- Test Execution: Execute test cases, report defects, and assist in verifying defect resolutions.
- Defect Management: Track defects and collaborate with the team to ensure their resolution.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with developers and senior testers to understand project needs and deliverables.
- Learning Test Automation: Participate in creating and maintaining automated test scripts under guidance.
- Documentation: Maintain detailed test records and ensure proper documentation of test results.
- Knowledge Development: Stay updated with basic testing tools, concepts, and practices, and actively participate in training opportunities.
Job Requirements
A minimum of:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent practical experience).
- At least 1 year of experience in software testing or a related field.
- ISTQB Foundation Level certification is a plus.
- Familiarity with software development methodologies (e.g., Agile).
- Basic understanding of testing life cycles and processes.
- Familiarity with test management tools (e.g., Jira, TFS)
