Job Description
- Ensure compliance with all applicable tax laws and regulations.
- Review and file accurate and timely tax returns (e.g., VAT, income tax, withholding tax).
- Manage communications with tax authorities for audits, queries, and inspections.
- Develop and implement tax strategies to optimize the organization's tax position.
- Monitor changes in tax legislation and assess their impact on the organization.
- Accurately calculate and report tax liabilities in financial statements.
- Reconcile tax accounts with the general ledger.
- Lead and supervise the tax team to ensure efficient operations.
- Train and mentor team members on tax matters and regulations.
- Collaborate with internal departments on tax-related matters.
- Liaise with external auditors, consultants, and tax authorities.
- Identify and mitigate tax-related risks through policies and controls.
- Streamline tax processes to improve efficiency and reduce costs.

Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
- Professional certifications like CPA, CMA, or CTA (Certified Tax Advisor) are highly desirable.
- 7–10 years of experience in tax, accounting, or finance roles.
- At least 2–3 years in a supervisory or managerial position.
- Hands-on experience with local and international tax laws and compliance procedures.
- Proficiency in accounting and tax software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or QuickBooks).
- Strong knowledge of tax laws, VAT, income tax, withholding tax, and transfer pricing.
- Excellent knowledge of financial reporting standards.
- Strong leadership and team management abilities.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Effective communication and negotiation skills.
- Attention to detail and high organizational skills.
