Curriculum Leadership

• Design, implement, and review a high-quality, engaging German curriculum aligned with the school's educational goals and international best practices.
• Ensure age-appropriate, progressive language acquisition through differentiated instruction.
• Integrate intercultural understanding and global awareness into German language teaching.

Teaching & Learning

• Deliver outstanding German lessons to primary students.
• Use a variety of teaching methods to accommodate different learning styles and language proficiencies.
• Monitor and assess student progress; provide constructive feedback and set targets.
• Use technology and interactive tools to enhance language learning.

Departmental Leadership

• Lead and support a team of German teachers (if applicable).
• Organize regular departmental meetings to share good practices and discuss progress.
• Oversee the development and implementation of schemes of work and lesson planning.
• Mentor new or less experienced language teachers.

Assessment & Reporting

• Develop and implement assessment methods appropriate for the primary level.
• Ensure accurate and timely reporting on student performance.
• Analyze student data to inform future teaching and curriculum planning.

Resource Management

• Manage the department’s budget and teaching resources efficiently.
• Organize and promote German-related events (e.g., language days, cultural festivals, competitions).

Collaboration & Communication

• Collaborate with other language departments and class teachers for cross-curricular opportunities.
• Communicate effectively with parents regarding students’ progress and school activities.
• Participate in parent-teacher conferences, staff meetings, and professional development.

Professional Development

• Stay updated with current methodologies in primary language teaching.
• Attend relevant workshops, conferences, and training opportunities.
