Job Description
Key Responsibilities
- Create BIM models for fire protection and plumbing systems from client-provided 2D drawings.
- Develop Revit Models Further from LOD 200 up to LOD 400 for fire suppression, water supply, drainage, and sanitary systems.
- Create LOD 500 As-Built Models.
- Preparing and managing shop drawings, schedules, and quantities derived from BIM models.
- Form and Mentor Junior BIM FP & PLUM Team according to company expansion plans.
- Ensure compliance with relevant standards such as NFPA (National Fire Protection Association), ASHRAE (American Society of Heating, Refrigerating, and Air-Conditioning Engineers), IPC (International Plumbing Code), and other applicable local and international standards.
- Ensure adherence to BIM Execution Plan, Company Standards and Project Requirements.
- Collaborate with Architectural, Structural, other MEP engineers, as well as other consultants to align and integrate models.
- Conduct quality control checks to ensure model integrity and data accuracy.
Provide technical support to team members and troubleshoot BIM-related issues for Fire protection and plumbing Models
Job Requirements
Qualifications
Essential:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Power Engineering.
- 6-9 Years of Experience.
- Experience in Shop Drawings Generated from Revit Models.
- Familiarity with fire protection and plumbing codes and standards such as NFPA, IPC, and ASHRAE.
- Awareness of BIM Workflows and Good knowledge working with BIM Execution Plans.
- Proficiency in Revit, Navisworks and Autocad software.
- Very good command of the English language, both written and spoken.
Preferred:
- Familiarity with Dynamo, Python, or other scripting tools for BIM automation.
- Knowledge of international BIM standards like ISO 19650 and BS1192.
- Familiarity with Scan to BIM workflows.
- Familiarity with COBie workflows and delivery.
