Job Description

  1. Raising awareness among workers about occupational safety and health methods and personal protection.
  2. Increasing awareness of work hazards and the importance of following occupational safety and health procedures.
  3. Ensuring the application of technical rules and instructions to guarantee the safety of workers and property, and monitoring employees' compliance with these rules on-site.
  4. Educating and training employees on occupational safety and health policies.
  5. Training and educating workers on emergency situations and the use of firefighting equipment.
  6. Preparing corrective action plans for non-conformities identified in the workplace.
  7. Monitoring the achievement of occupational safety and health performance indicators and issuing evaluation reports for workplaces.
  8. Recording cases of injuries in sewing halls and providing reports to prevent recurrence.
  9. Ensuring the application of technical rules and instructions to guarantee the safety of employees and property, and monitoring compliance on-site.
  10. Supervising periodic inspections of various work sites, studying potential risks, and determining how to prevent and control them.
  11. Conducting regular inspections of automatic fire and alarm networks and submitting reports on the condition of these systems.
  12. Reporting violations of safety procedures and taking necessary actions.
  13. Investigating accidents and writing reports, including recommendations for appropriate preventive measures.
  14. Distributing personal protective equipment (PPE) to employees and raising their awareness about the importance of wearing it at different work sites to protect against risks related to job nature.
  15. Periodically inspecting different work sites to ensure employees adhere to wearing personal protective equipment as per the job requirements, imposing appropriate penalties on employees who violate these instructions.
  16. Preparing work permits before performing any maintenance or repair activities that may pose safety risks to employees.

Job Requirements

  • 3-5 Years of experience in occupational health & safety is a must.
  • BSc/BA in safety management or relevant field is preferred
  • Valid qualification in occupational health and safety
  • HSE training, firefighting, first Aid, good awareness of occupational health & safety rules.
  • Proven experience in health & safety
  • Deep understanding of legal health and safety guidelines
  • Ability in producing reports
  • Attention to details and observation ability
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities
