Job Description
- Analyze and allocate costs .
- Prepare detailed cost reports and variance analyses to support management decision-making.
- Monitor and review inventory transactions, ensuring proper valuation and reconciliation.
- Assist in the development and implementation of cost accounting systems and procedures.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather data and improve cost control processes.
- Identify cost-saving opportunities and recommend process improvements.
- Assist with month-end and year-end closing activities related to cost accounting.
- Prepare documentation and reports for internal and external audits as required.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 1-2 years of experience in cost accounting or a similar finance role.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with various departments.
- Understanding of cost accounting principles and practices.
- Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple priorities.
