Job Description
Supervision and follow-up of product manufacturing according to the manufacturing process of each product, while adhering to approved standard specifications and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
Manufacturing high-quality products and minimizing industrial waste.
Execution of the daily manufacturing plan for products.
Specific Duties:
Receiving the "Batch Record" from the Quality Control department.
Monitoring the dispensing of raw materials required for manufacturing, as recorded in the "Batch Record," from the weighing section before starting production.
Receiving the distilled water analysis conformity certificate from the Quality Control department before beginning the production process via email.
Ensuring that the production areas are cleared of any items related to previous batches according to GMP "Line Clearance" instructions.
Monitoring the cleanliness of the manufacturing areas to ensure the highest quality, by directing cleaning staff to clean specific areas (machines, floors, walls, ceilings, tables, production tools).
Receiving and reviewing the batch (raw materials) to ensure conformity with weight, physical properties, expiration date, and QC number. Signing off on each item as reviewed on time. In case of any physical alteration or complaint, production must stop immediately and the Quality Control department must be notified to take necessary action, conduct a deviation report, investigate root causes, and propose corrective and preventive actions.
Monitoring machine operations and cleaning by following the Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) for each product. This includes supervising the addition and filtration of raw materials before entering the machine, and ensuring that all stainless-steel filters are in place at all machine inlets and outlets. All data and times must be recorded on time.
Ensuring proper application of Good Documentation Practices (GDP) in operational records and documents.
Delivering semi-finished products to the semi-finished product storekeeper and officially handing them over to the warehouse after issuing a semi-finished delivery note and entering data into the Oracle system.
Submitting the BMR (Batch Manufacturing Record) to the Quality Control department within 2 working days after manufacturing.
Monitoring and implementing all requirements related to ISO certifications, environmental protection policy, occupational health and safety. This includes recording necessary data such as temperature and humidity, cleanliness of production areas, calibration of scales, wash times, and machine breakdowns.
Preparing a monthly departmental report covering: produced quantities, production plan achievement rate, waste percentage, deviation reports, and machine downtime.
Completing all daily and monthly production reports related to machine operation and submitting them to the department manager, highlighting what was manufactured, comparing it to the plan, reporting post-production waste, and machine downtime.
Monitoring worker performance, including: provision of personal protective equipment (PPE), compliance with dress code policies in manufacturing areas, general appearance, and daily attendance.
Coordinating night shift and shift work to fulfill the production plan, notifying relevant departments (logistics, security, engineering) about shift schedules, submitting names and pickup points, and logging them in the shift system.
Coordinating the aloe vera juice extraction process with the farm manager for plant supply, logistics for transportation, and the planning department.
Informing Operations and other departments (managers, planning, warehouses, engineering, quality control) via email about any obstacles preventing execution of the production plan (e.g., equipment failure, water outage) at least 24 hours in advance, or immediately during the same day.
Overseeing quarterly purchasing requests for all manufacturing department supplies based on available inventory.
Preparing Toll Manufacturing procedures according to available machines and support equipment. This includes determining batch size and calculating water weight based on provided formulas and manufacturing processes, and then submitting to Quality Control for review and BMR issuance.
Reviewing manufacturing methods for new products developed jointly with the R&D department and approved by the Quality Control department, before submitting them for final approval by the department manager.
Coordinating with the Quality Assurance department to conduct annual calibration of all machines and support devices (speed, pressure, temperature), scales, and temperature/humidity sensors in the manufacturing department.
Reviewing the manufacturing plan with the Planning department to ensure its feasibility.
Training new supervisors and monitoring performance levels.
Ensuring implementation of safety, occupational health, and environmental protection instructions. Conducting daily awareness meetings with staff to maintain workflow discipline.
Participating in continuous improvement efforts and submitting necessary CCRs (Change Control Requests) to develop and improve production processes and reduce industrial waste.

Education: Bachelor degree
Years of experience: 10-12 years
Computer skills: Microsoft Office “Excel – Word – outlook & Oracle system
Language skills: Good English
