Job Description
- Prepare and review mechanical designs for equipment and systems used in water and wastewater treatment plants.
- Prepare and analyze technical specifications and engineering drawings and provide technical feasibility studies.
- Review tenders and technical project specifications and provide necessary support to the sales and procurement teams.
- Develop engineering solutions to improve plant performance and reduce operational costs.
- Supervise performance and commissioning tests, ensuring compliance with technical standards and specifications.
- Prepare technical reports and submit them to management, along with recommendations for improvement and development.
- Coordinate with civil and electrical engineering teams to ensure integration of mechanical designs with other systems.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in the design and study of water treatment, wastewater, and pumping station projects.
- Proficiency in engineering design software such as AutoCAD and SolidWorks.
- Good knowledge of design codes and standards for water treatment plants such as ASME, API, ISO, ASTM.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to solve complex technical problems.
- Proficiency in preparing technical reports and presenting findings to management and clients.
