Job Description

Haydon Power is a UK based e-commerce agency that specialises in Shopify. We’re looking for a remote front end developer to join our growing team in Egypt.

The role will be full time, with working days Sunday to Thursday - 9am to 5pm UK time. It is 100% remote, however there may be opportunities to occasionally work alongside our other developers in a shared office environment.

You will assist with front-end website development, debugging, maintenance and general updates. The ideal candidate would have experience in Shopify, however this is not a necessity. This role is an opportunity to work on large projects and expand your knowledge and skills.

Responsibilities

Develop custom sections and upgrade existing sections on Shopify themes
Work on website issues, across a variety of devices, browsers, screen-sizes.
Work alongside the development team to complete projects and meet deadlines.

Job Requirements

3+ years of experience with frontend web development, including HTML, Javascript, CSS, Jquery, and front-end frameworks (ie: React, Angular, etc.)
Connection and integration of tools via API.
Experience working with Shopify (Not a necessity)
Knowledge of front-end web-development best practices, including lazy-loading, responsive-design, cross-browser compatibility, and CSS layout frameworks
Experience with Git version control, chrome developer tools, and command line
Good organisation, time- management skills & work ethic.
Ability to work independently and within a team.
A portfolio of previous work and details on specific elements you completed.
Good English skills
