Job Description
- Develop and maintain material requirements plans (MRP) based on production schedules and forecasts.
- Analyze material usage trends and ensure optimal stock levels to prevent shortages or overstocking.
- Coordinate with procurement, production, and warehouse teams to ensure timely material delivery.
- Review and update Bill of Materials (BOMs) and planning parameters in ERP systems.
- Monitor supplier performance and escalate delays or issues that impact material availability.
- Work closely with the demand planning team to align material planning with sales forecasts.
- Maintain accurate records of inventory, orders, and delivery timelines.
- Participate in periodic stock reviews and support inventory reconciliation.
- Contribute to process improvement initiatives to enhance material planning efficiency.
- Generate and present regular reports on material status, risks, and KPIs.
Job Requirements
Education: A minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in Business/Science/Medicine or a relevant degree;
Experience:
- Minimum of 2-4 years of work experience in a similar position
- Successful, multi-year track record in Supply Chain functions in a global organization
- Familiarity with the SAP tool is highly recommended
