Job Description
We are looking for a highly organized and detail-oriented Document Controller to manage and oversee the documentation processes for all project-related documents. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate records, ensuring proper document flow, and complying with document control policies and procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain and manage all project documents in accordance with company standards and procedures.
- Ensure that the latest versions of documents are available to project teams and stakeholders.
- Review and update documents, making sure they are formatted, distributed, and filed correctly.
- Monitor document quality to ensure compliance with project specifications and company guidelines.
- Facilitate the document approval process, tracking document status and ensuring deadlines are met.
- Ensure proper archival of project documents for future reference.
- Collaborate with various departments to ensure documentation is accessible and up to date.
- Prepare and distribute document transmittals, reports, and summaries as needed.
Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional qualifications in office management or related fields are a plus.
- Previous experience in document control or administrative roles (minimum 2 years).
- Proficiency with document control software and MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Familiarity with project management and construction documentation is a plus.
