Job Description
• Developing and designing products and systems based on customer requirements and industry standards.
• Conducting research and testing to check the feasibility and viability of the design ideas.
• Collaborating with other areas of the organization, such as manufacturing and quality control.
• Prepare technical drawings required for manufacturing.
• Prepare maintenance manuals.
• Design and follow up manufacturing of prototypes, required jigs and fixtures.
• Troubleshooting design-related issues and making necessary changes.
• Reviewing and providing feedback on the designs of other engineers.
• Can Estimate and define production/manufacturing process route.
• Staying up to date with industry trends and new technologies and implementing new designs.
• Follow up execution till delivery.
• Continuously work with draftsmen and technicians to improve their skills performance.
• Apply international standards totally adhering to ISO 9001.(Edited)
Job Requirements
- Proven working experience in mechanical engineering
- Working experience with product lifecycle management (PLM), finite element analysis (FEA) and computational fluid dynamics (CFD)
- Hands-on experience with computer-aided engineering (CAM) and computer-aided manufacturing (CAE)
- Familiarity with 2D or 3D engineering design and manufacturing tools (e.g., AutoCAD, ProE or other)
- Adequate knowledge of engineering analysis tools (ANSYS, ProMechanica or similar)
- Mathematical computing and analysis tools knowledge (Matlab, Excel, LabView etc)
- Solid understanding of core concepts including mechanics, kinematics, thermodynamics, materials science etc.
- Creativity and analytical skills
- Ability to communicate technical knowledge in a clear and understandable manner
- Technical writing skills
- BSc degree in Engineering
