Job Description

About the Role:
 

  • The Business Translator is in charge of conducting business translation in different business functions (Marketing – Sales – Finance – HR – Business Operation …etc) in a timely manner with high quality. You will translate business plans, formats, presentations, reports, proposals, etc., from English to Arabic (and vice versa). 
  • He/she will translate a variety of business content from English to Arabic and vice versa, ensuring accuracy and quality.
  • Conduct research to ensure the proper translation of technical and specialized terms.
  • Review and proofread translated content to ensure consistency and quality
  • Analyzing and understanding the scope of the required document
  • Searching the industry-related terminologies and concepts
  • Communicating with the internal team members to ensure that the provided translation meets their requirements and expectations
  • Validating technical terms and style of writing against internal references to ensure accuracy and consistency
  • Conducting flipping and formatting tasks to Excel, Word, or PowerPoint files
  • Participating in the development of internal Term-bases, Templates, and Knowledge bases
  • Adapting to the changes and requirements during the work period

Job Requirements

  • From Cairo or Has accommodation in Cairo 
     
  • Bachelor's Degree in Translation or Interpretation Linguistics, or a related field (Economics or business knowledge or a relevant diploma in business translation is preferred)
  • Full proficiency in English, and Arabic. (Other languages proficiency, preferably European, is a plus)
  • 5-8years of experience in business translation
  • Strong editing & reviewing experience
  • Strong verbal and written business communication skills
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • ability to work under pressure
  • Perfect experience of Microsoft Office
  • Entrepreneurial spirit and self-motivation and Excellent work ethics
  • The work will be done in-house, not remotely.
