Job Description
- Lead and coordinate the electrical proposals team in preparing competitive and compliant technical and commercial proposals for EPC projects.
- Analyze client requirements, tender documents, and project specifications to develop effective proposal strategies.
- Oversee the preparation of detailed cost estimates, technical documentation, and bid submissions for electrical systems in power plants, substations, and infrastructure projects.
- Collaborate with engineering, procurement, and construction teams to ensure alignment of proposal deliverables with project execution capabilities.
- Review and validate technical solutions, ensuring compliance with industry standards, client specifications, and company policies.
- Manage proposal schedules, allocate resources, and monitor progress to ensure timely submission of high-quality proposals.
- Conduct risk assessments and identify value engineering opportunities to enhance proposal competitiveness.
- Engage with clients, suppliers, and partners to clarify requirements, negotiate terms, and build strong relationships throughout the proposal process.
- Provide leadership, mentorship, and performance feedback to proposal team members, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
- Stay updated on market trends, competitor activities, and technological advancements to inform proposal strategies and maintain a competitive edge.
Job Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in electrical proposal engineering, tendering, in Construction field within the EPC industry.
- Proven track record of leading proposal teams and delivering successful bids for large-scale electrical projects.
- Strong understanding of electrical systems for power plants, substations, transmission, and distribution projects.
- Excellent project management, organizational, and time management skills.
- Ability to interpret complex technical documents, drawings, and specifications.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
- Demonstrated ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in proposal management software, MS Office Suite, and relevant engineering tools.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with keen attention to detail.
- Commitment to upholding safety, quality, and compliance standards in all proposal activities.
