Job Description
- Review client technical specifications and project documents (BOQs, SLDs, layouts).
- Prepare and update technical submittals, shop drawings, and as-built drawings.
- Perform electrical calculations such as load calculations, voltage drops, and cable sizing.
- Coordinate with the design, production, and procurement teams to ensure alignment of technical requirements and manufacturing feasibility.
- Issue technical purchase requests and assist in supplier technical evaluations.
- Provide technical support to the sales and production departments.
- Ensure compliance with international electrical standards (e.g., IEC, NEC) and local codes.
- Participate in product development and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Maintain organized documentation and filing systems for all project-related technical files.
- Attend technical meetings and site visits as needed to clarify or verify engineering information.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
- 3–5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in an electrical manufacturing or contracting company.
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, panels (MDB, SMDB, DB), switchgear, and/or control systems.
- Proficient in AutoCAD, Microsoft Office (especially Excel), and preferably EPLAN or Revit.
- Familiarity with electrical standards and codes (IEC, NEC).
- Strong attention to detail and documentation skills.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
