Job Description
- Lead and supervise the quality assurance section to ensure compliance with company and regulatory standards.
- Develop, implement, and maintain quality assurance policies, procedures, and systems for all production lines, including traditional and jelly sweets.
- Conduct regular audits and inspections of production processes to identify areas for improvement and ensure adherence to quality standards.
- Collaborate with production, R&D, and supply chain teams to resolve quality issues and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
- Analyze quality data, prepare detailed reports, and present findings to senior management.
- Train and mentor quality assurance staff, fostering a culture of accountability and excellence.
- Oversee the investigation and resolution of customer complaints related to product quality.
- Ensure compliance with local and international food safety regulations and certifications.
- Coordinate with external auditors and regulatory bodies during inspections and certification processes.
- Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in food quality assurance.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Chemistry, Microbiology, or a related field.
- 5 to 8 years of progressive experience in quality assurance within the food industry.
- Proven experience in managing or supervising quality assurance teams.
- In-depth knowledge of food safety standards, such as ISO 22000, HACCP, and GMP.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate teams in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in quality management systems and reporting tools.
- Experience with regulatory compliance and external audits.
- Ability to work onsite and adapt to flexible work schedules as needed.
