Job Description
- Creation of new packaging design incorporating fresh ideas while effectively communicating product features and maintaining brand image.
- Making recommendations on the best and most cost-effective way to solve design challenges while maintaining brand aesthetic.
- Create packaging concepts, graphics, and any visual elements: sketches, prototypes, comps.
- Offer creative layouts and designs within short timelines.
- Effectively manage project timelines for self and others.
- Illustrate and communicate packaging concepts about our products.
- Determine appropriate means to produce the desired visual effect and the production methods.
- Build and maximize relationships with cross-functional teams of Sales, Marketing, and Overseas operations to ensure successful conceptualization, development, and execution of package design specs are met.
Job Requirements
- A track record of excellence in implementing brand and product marketing strategies through design.
- Excellent knowledge of print production and press practices – Pantone vs. CMYK, how colors are laid on the press.
- Extensive knowledge of layout and assembly of large format displays and signage.
- Ability to work independently on a variety of projects under pressure, as well as collaboratively with team members.
- Extensive knowledge of Adobe Illustrator and, Adobe Photoshop.
- Strong design skillset with high sensitivity to typography and layout.
